C. Data protection notice according to DSGVO

The legal basis for the processing of personal data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. Our detailed data protection legal notice can be found here.

This website uses a program for statistical evaluation of the use of the pages. For these purposes, the open source software Matomo (formerly Piwik) is used. The software used is configured according to the recommendations of the Independent Centre for Data Protection Schleswig-Holstein and follows the applicable data protection regulations.

The "cookies" used for the purpose of statistical analysis are text files that are only temporarily stored on your computer. They are automatically deleted after two weeks. Your IP address is anonymized immediately after processing and before it is stored.

By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you in the manner and for the purposes set out above.

Revocation of data collection

If your browser supports the "Do-Not-Track" technology and you have activated it, your visit will be automatically ignored.

Technical notes on revocation

By deactivating the statistical analysis, a "permanent cookie" is stored on your computer, if your browser settings allow this. This cookie serves the purpose of signaling to the analysis software not to capture your browser.

Please note that for technical reasons, a separate revocation of data collection with Piwik is required in each case for the various websites of the institutions of the University of Lübeck. Again, if your browser supports "do-not-track" technology and you have activated it, your visit will be automatically ignored.
