Schuelerakademie Receives Funding for Three More Years
IMIS is happy to announce the continuation of the Schülerakademie for another three years, including the MaTZ initiative. The Possehl Foundation is providing a total funding of €1.873 million to support the entire program, enabling the sustainable development of diverse educational initiatives.
Since January 2021, the MaTZ initiative (“Media Competence, Mindful Technology Development, and Digital Future Topics”), led by Prof. Nicole Jochems and Leonie Lindemann, has focused on strengthening digital competencies among children, youth, and teachers. Central to the initiative is fostering action competence through mindful technology development and promoting interdisciplinary thinking as a key to addressing societal challenges of the digital future.
We look forward to three more years of research with the entire MaTZ team, advancing digital inclusion, diversity, and transformation through empowerment, networking, and openness.
